THE THRESHOLD EVENTS TEAM

All the team at Threshold enjoy running but for many different reasons, whether it's for fitness and weight loss, running for fun, or to put in some serious miles for marathon running.

Here is the low-down on the team.

Running Holidays and Training CampsRob Minton
Threshold Co-Founder and Coach
As a qualified Personal Trainer, Rob has worked with many individuals with both weight loss and running improvement aims. He has also worked with many of Stratford's sporting clubs such as Stratford Athletic Club, Hockey Club and Boat Club.  After running at a high level when he was younger, Rob has enjoyed some success of late in winning the 2007 Wright Hassall Regency 10K race (and beating the course record!). With a race list combining road, fell, multi-terrain, track and cross-country there aren't many surfaces or distances that he hasn't raced, giving fantastic experience which he can pass on.

Sarah Bland

Threshold Co-Founder and Coach

A Keen runner, triathlete and adventure racers, Sarah has developed over the last couple of years from a good runner into a fast, intelligent runner.  She has experience using running to lose weight (having lose a couple of stone!), and has also battled through a couple of injury setbacks.  This personal knowledge is valuable for anyone coming on one of our events to help you through the do's and don't of running.  Combining unbelievable powers of energy and a superwomen mentality (it's sometimes tough to remind her of these things called rest days!) her day to day involvement at Threhold is invaluable.

Paddy Davies

As our chief computer buff and fixer of anything Paddy is one of the most resourceful members of the team.  Added to that he has competed in various adventure races and triathlons although he tends to be more at home on his beautiful red Ducatti!!

Henry Lowry
Physiotherapist
A commonwealth standard competitor in his younger days at the 110m hurdles Henry still throws a leg over the fences against today's crop of young pretenders. Although running for fitnessis now his main aim, along with patching up those of us who have the occasional running related injury. His experience of running combined with his career as a Physio gives Henry a great perspective to help treat and also teach anyone to keep their bodies injury free.

Keith Hawkes
Threshold Running Guide

Stratford's very own He-Man, Keith combines an intelligent running mind with dedication and determination. As someone who has completed Half Iron Man competitions, National Cross Country Championships, Marathons and the odd bit of hammer throwing you could compare him to Charles Atlas in attitude if not physique. Time spent in Keith's company is of great value to any level of runner.

Clare Teasdale
Pilates Instructor
Caring and sensitive, Clare is a wonderful addition to the Threshold team. As a highly qualified and experienced Pilates teacher, Clare has a fantastic reputation in Warwickshire for providing fun and interesting classes that will feel innocuous at the time but will get you using muscles you didn't even realise were there. Developing an understanding of Pilates is a great way to complement your running to help improve your flexibility and posture.

Patrick (Paddy) Taylor
Threshold Running Guide
As an all-round sportsman Paddy can be found at home on the water in a rowing boat as much as running around the streets and paths of Stratford. His polite and courteous manner belays a highly competitive nature. This combined with amazing natural fitness make him a guide worth running with.
